non-destuctive OSX re-partitioning utility

Post by Want to Know Eh » Thu, 09 Jan 2003 01:06:43

Just to avoid having to reinstall OSX, can anyone recommend a
partitioning utility for OSX that will allow me to non-destructively
re-partition my iBook hard drive so I can install debian or YDL? (think
Partition Magic for Windows).

thanks!

PartitionToolkit from FWB
(http://www.fwb.com/html/partition_toolkit.html) is supposed to do
that.  I have not yet tried it yet, though.  You will need a separate
system partition (a bootable CD will do) with MacOS 9.x and the
program on it to make this work.

Hope this helps, benny
