Does anyone know of an encrypted file system for SCO's OpenDesk 5?
For example, Linux has CFS, and I think DOS has SFS.

I don't know of a Filesystem as such... But there is a good product
out there that does **awesome** (I'm just a satisfied customer) encryption.
The company is called TECSEC. They have a product that runs on SCO and
a port that runs on the Windoze platforms. It allows you to encrypt
directory structures, files, etc... I suppose you could create a seperate
filesystem (say HTFS...) and then run the VEIL product on that entire
Filesystem. Their product has been patented and is a good product. They
also provide Encryption services that run across Cellular networks, and
a satellite terminal service.

I ported CFS to OSR5 some time ago, just as an experiment, and it
seemed to work. I don't have the port any longer, but I recall it was
pretty easy; one of the ported-to platforms was very close.
1. Encrypting again an already encrypted file increase security ?
Assume I have a file which is already encrypted with lets say a Blowfish tool.
If I encrypt exactly this file again with another encryption algorithm tool
(e.g. IDEA or DES or RSA or whatever) does this improve the secureness ?
Or is the crackability (read: the theoretical probability of being cracking
within a certain period of time) equal the security/safety of the best of the
two used encryption methods ? That would mean that applying a less secure
encryption methdo would NOT improve the security.

3. Enhanced Filing system - file system like DEC Advanced File system for Linux
5. Does Solaris provide encrypted file system?
6. Problem installin slackware 2.2.0
7. encrypted file system setup.
9. New release of CFS encrypting file system available
10. Encrypting File System on Linux or *BSD
11. CFS 1.1.2 Unix encrypting file system source code available (free)
