by For some strange reason I can't telnet into a new unixware 7 station even
though everything seems to be running. I have checked the services file,
inetd file, etc but can't identify the problem. I can connect by telnet
to other stations on the internet but not my own when even when attempting
the connection from the unix console. What have I overlooked? This is
the first time that I have installed unixware 7 and the documentation is
very weak. The message that I get back is that the connecting host does
not have permission to connect. I should think thatmy host should be able
to connect without any permission requirements or settings. By the way I
am running at the traditional security level.
