My machine is a PentiumII-base PC server with one IDE CD-ROM drive.
After running a test program(with heavy loading), the PC Server shows the
WARNING message in /usr/adm/messages as below -
" WARNING: wd(0,0) Soft Reset failed ".
The system is still testing and sometimes with CD-ROM read error.

p.s.: The IDE-CDROM is on Primary IDE channel and is a master drive.
The boot SCO OpenServer 5.0.2 hard disk is an ultra wide SCSI hard
disk.

The test program has run on my other PC machines without the WARNING.
The test program can test IDE-CDROM by reading/copying/comparing between
CD-ROM and hard disk.

Does anyone know what it mean ?
How to solve the problem ?

Thank you in advance.
