Hello,

I have an openserver 5.04 which was installed with a NE2000 NIC and
work fine. Now we replaced the NE2000 with a 3com 3c905 Fast Etherlink
XL and in the scoadmin / network I removed the NE2000. But how do I
install the 3c905? The docs from the 3com-driver tells me something
about an entry like 'have disk' in the listbox where I could select
the nic but there's no entry. I use the shell-version of scoadmin
because  I have no graphical gui installed.

Could anybody help?

My machine (exactly same situation) autodetected the 3com card (scoadmin
-> network -> hardware -> add lan adapter). Sure suprised me.

I had hell with the 3c905 until I got and loaded rs504c
from SCO's web pile.

After installing rs504c, go to netconfig -> add LAN adapter

As to what PCI device it's going to be, I have no clue.
Depends on what slot it's in.
