I apologize if this has been covered before. My searches through the
SCO SSL and dejanews turned up nothing about this problem.
While applying patch net100 to my system, I got the following error
message:
./opt/K/SCO/tcp/2.0.0Cl/.softmgmt/patchBackup/rstcp200.1.0.a/etc/snmpd
has size 162244 expected 138144
./opt/K/SCO/tcp/2.0.0Cl/.softmgmt/patchBackup/rstcp200.1.0.a/etc/snmpd
has checksum 3566984624 expected 383267593
After loading net100, the system reports the following patches
applied:
SCO OpenServer Enterprise System (5.2 From Compaq) (ver 5.0.0b) |
rs.lmc200.2.0.a LAN Manager Client Version 2.0.0: Networking Supp
rs.nfs200.2.0.a NFS Version 2.0.0: Networking Supplement Release

rs.Unix500.2.0. UNIX Version 5.0.0: Networking Supplement Release
rs.Unix500.1.0. Unix Version 5.0.0 Release Supplement
I did not write down the "Patches Applied" prior to the load of
net100, however, they appeared to correspond to the patches expected
when rs5.0.0d was loaded and applied.
Hardware is a Compaq Proliant 1500 server, 5GB of Compaq Hardware
Raid.
Is this error significant? The system does seem to be running fine.
Ping, telnet, ftp, etc, all seem to work.
