Hello, were having a problem, the syslog is filled with this
kind of error messages:

Oct 11 07:05:09 server1 bootpd?657?: IP address not found: x.x.x.x
Oct 11 07:06:27 server1 bootpd?657?: IP address not found: x.x.x.x
Oct 11 07:06:29 server1 bootpd?657?: IP address not found: x.x.x.x
Oct 11 07:07:54 server1 bootpd?657?: IP address not found: x.x.x.x
Oct 11 07:10:02 server1 bootpd?657?: IP address not found: x.x.x.x

The ip addresses are distributed by our dhcp server and the sco unix
server shouldnt have anything to do with it. I've never seen anything
like it before, it happens on both of our sco unix servers.

bootpd is a program used for booting other computers/devices from
a common stored file.

Check your inetd configuration file to make sure you aren't
running it.
