Relinking the kernel gives me -

Post by Nick Lewi » Sun, 16 Jan 2000 04:00:00

When I relink the kernel it fails with the following message :

kslgen:  cannot determine major/minor numbers for node /dev/net0

        idbuild: kslgen had errors

I installed the latest version of the Compaq EFS this morning which has
caused the problem.  An uninstall has not reverted the system to a
re-linkable state.

I don't know where to look for this. offered no help in the
technical articles.

Any help appreciated,

1. Error relinking kernel after mkdev parallel

On a Compaq Proliant runnin SCO OS5.0.2, after running mkdev parallel the
relink fails with "syntax error at line 5, '(' unexpected".

Has anybody else come across this?

Any help most welcome.
