Adding additional std serial port

I have a need to add an additional 'dumb' serial port.  I know the Lava I/O
makes such a port.  Does this card work with SCO OpenServer 5.0.5/5.0.6??
If is does not, what can you suggest I look at??

Any old com1(/com2) board should work if you have the neccessary interrupts
& io addresses free.

1. How to add additional serial ports to the kernel?

I have a need to add additional serial ports (beyond sio0-sio3)..
how do I go about doing this?  I'm looking at adding 2 more ports,
for a total of 6.. it looks like I have enough interrupts to do this..

i need to be able to have a configuration something like this:
        sio0 = mouse
        sio1 = UPS monitor
        sio2 = modem
        sio3 = remote console
        sio4 = modem
        sio5 = spare

please copy replies to email..
