SCO 3.2v4.2 / MS Mail integration over TCP/IP??

Post by Malcolm Sommervill » Sat, 19 Oct 1996 04:00:00

I have to integrate a SCO Unix box with MS Mail over a TCP/IP ethernet
connection.  I think I need to to use the MS Mail SMTP gateway, but I
was just wondering if anyone out there had already done it, or anything
similar, and could give me some ideas.

TIA

Malcolm

What MS Mail are you talking about exactly?

I've used the Exchange client in Win95 successfully, by installing a POP3
server on UNIX.  I think the POP server is available on the SCO website.
Watch out for possible conflicts or misconfiguration between the original
POP port 109 and the POP3 port 110 (I think I've got that right) -- I
think that the POP server on the SCO website may by default configure to
109 and you may have to change it.

Where can I get fresh install disks for SCO 3.2v4.2 ?

I am also looking for TCP/IP 1.2.1 for SCO 3.2v4.1 .

Any information about where I could find these would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
