Hello everybody,
I have set up an HP LaserJet 5 printer on a SCO 5.0.4 system to be able to
print from Windows95 over TCP/IP through Vision. I am using the SCO Printer
Manager and I have the printer model set to "dumb" and the termtype as
"unknown". I also have the number of banner pages set to "0". It prints
both text and graphics (in portrait and landscape) fine except for one
thing. There are extra pages that I cannot figure out how to stop.

When I print something it always goes like this:
BLANK page
Page(s) I wanted to print
BLANK page
Page with X's filling only the first row at the top of the page
BLANK page

What do I need to do to fix this? It is driving me crazy!!! Any help
will be highly appreciated.

Edit the printer's interface file
(/usr/spool/lp/admins/lp/interfaces/your_printer_name_goes_here) and remove
the lines that cause form feeds, echo "\014\c"
