I've seen it happen.  I haven't figured out the problem though.

If you solve it, let me know too please.

Keyboard problems on V5

Has anyone seen a problem under SCO Open Server 5 (Version 3.2v5.0.0)
where the keyboard on the console randomly locks up?  The server
continues to run, but there is no way to access the console.  We are
not running X at the console, just normal shell logins.

Thanks ahead!

The first question is - are you running this on a Pentium?  There is a
documented problem with the keyboard polling loop timing value.  There
is a patch that you can get via faxback or on sosco.sco.com.  In
essense you take your system out of turbo mode, install system, install
patch to keyboard, relink kernel, reboot, catch the bios on boot and
turn turbo back on.

Things are fine then.
