We upgraded our sco unix to sco openserver release 5. I am using a smc
8432E/BNC
32Bit PCI ethernet card with the lli 3.11/30.4 driver sets. I can rcp and
rsh all day as well as telnet to and from the system all day. I can ftp to
the sco box and send a file.
However when I try to retreive a file from the sco box (using either
Century FTP, win95 ftp, sun or linux ftp) the sco box send 1-2kbytes and
freezes. No messages in /var/adm/syslog or messages. My ifconfig smpw0 is
smpw0: flags=4043<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet: 100.0.0.22 netmask ff000000 broadcast 100.255.255.255
perf. params: recv size: 4096 send size: 8192; full-size
frames: 1
ether: 00:00:c0:ce:37:d0
All the hardware is the same as when we were using sco unix 2.3/4 last
week.
I remember something about a one-packet command on the ifconfig line that
allowed for no backtoback transmissions, but cant find the man page for it.
Any suggestions?
