Is anyone surprised at the profusion of traffic in the last couple of
days about people just now dealing with y2k patches and moving data off
old machines onto new ones?

S'allright with me: I've been semi-glued to my phone, babying OSR 5.0.5
installation and data-moving for two sites, one 40 miles away and the
other 100 miles away.  My ears are getting tired, and my head reels
slightly as I conceptually flit from the BackupEDGE & Equinox software
at one of these places to the LoneTar & Digi stuff at the other.
OTOH, my billable time today will be on the snappy side.

Nope, not surprised.  In fact, I expect it to get worse
AFTER Jan 1.  After all, the people calling now are just
procrastinators- the really bad ones are going to be the
people who don't have a clue that they needed to do anything
at all.
