Very Computer

I have a gateway2000 and when I hit the CapsLock and a few (not all) of
the number pad keys, it locks up the terminal and I can't access the
server until I reboot it.  Needless to say, I try not to hit these keys
very often, but mistakes do happen and it's very annoying.  Gateway
doesn't have any idea, and I'm hoping someone out there does.  Any help?

AIX? DOS? OS2? Linux? HP-UX/
