1. I want to own my own server. Help!

Could someone tell me something about the feasability of owning my own
web server and creating/selling web pages to businesses.  I really do not
have any idea on how it all works.  How difficult is it to do?  How much
do the servers run?  What is the feasability of doing from home? ETC.

Please email me with any opinions thank you.
