I'm considering using the latest version of SCO Unix on a Web/Email server.
If you'd tried this, can u email me with ur experiences?  Was ur experience
good/bad?  What SMTP and Browsing applications were on top of the OS??

I am using it now. It is very fast. You can use the netscape server and
browser
to do this.

1. Virtual Web Servers on SCO OS 3.0 and 5.0

Hi all,

To get a virtual web server running, it is my understanding you need the
following steps, not necessarily in order:

1. HTTPD server that supports virtual servers e.g. Apache.  Apache is
trivial to configure to do this.

2. IP address for the virtual server with appropriate entries in your DNS

3. Get your machine's network interface (presumably ethernet card) to
respond to the new (i.e. multiple) IP addresses.

I don't know how to do number 3 and whether it works under OS 3.0, 5.0 or
both.
