I've try on several sever to install patches RS504C and OSS601A but I have
some problem.
I use this procedure:
# custom
SOFTWARE
INSTALL NEW
FROM "MY HOST"
MEDIA IMAGE
/TMP/x x x x x /
where x x x x x is the directory where I've put the file VOL.000.000 ecc.
downloaded from SCO FTP SITE.

I read this error message:

Error: File format is inelegible

Any suggestion ????

Try downloading it again but this time give ftp the bin command
to make sure you aren't downloading the file in ascii format.

1. What Y2K problems are there with SCO Unix 3.2.4.2?

Hello:
I have an SCO 3.2.4.2 Unix system, and would like to know if there are
any serious Y2K problems with this OS, and what they may be. I'm trying
to determine if an upgrade is absolutely necessary, and if so, why. I
did set the clock to 12-31-99 and the date did change correcly to
1-1-2000.
Thanks,
Michael
