SLS 1.03 dies when starting network!

SLS 1.03 dies when starting network!

Hello!

I use SLS 1.03 from 11 Aug. 1993 (0.99pl12). The system dies suddenly after I start the network. I've heard something about an incorrect rc.net, but the fix on disk b7 is only a link to directory that does not exist (/conf/etc/rc.net)

Who can help? Thanks

1. ld dies in SLS 1.03

I installed SLS 1.03 and upon trying to compile several
X windows apps, I have had them all die after a flawless
compile with the following message:

        ld: No such file or directory for crt0.o

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
