  I thought I'd save many of you the time downloading the source files
from CMU for the Mach DOS emulator so I've posted it to
in /tmp as mdos.tar.Z.   Included are the Postcript documents that were
under the setup directory.  It should make interesting bedtime reading.

1. ftp not allowed

I have a class c with 203.67.189.x, a point to point connection with (remote site) and (local site).

when I ftp to, a well known site, that checks your IP to a
host name, it fails on the machine, because it thinks it is From all other machines on the lan I can reach this ftp

Why does it not use the IP x.x.x.1 instead of 192.....? Where is the
setting for it.
I cannot add to my name files either, because I do not
have authority to this host name.
