Help can't compile InterViews with gcc patches and Linux patches

Post by Bradly William Wrig » Wed, 02 Jun 1993 07:29:36

Does anyone have source to Interviews that compiles cleanly with gcc
2.3.3. I keep getting this error when I run xmkmf:

mv Makefile Makefile.bak
imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X386/lib/X11/config
/usr/lib/crt0.o: Undefined symbol _main referenced from text segment
imake: Exit code 1.  Stop.

Any clues?

Thanks in advance,

Brad Wright

1. [PATCH] patch's for vmware 2.0.4 for use with linux-2.4.8 kernel

I've applied the patch with your fixes, and I've always noticed that
VMware seem to leak a bit of memory (occording to top and ps). Running
with 128Mb in a Win2k box it started off at 161Mb process size (140Mb
RSS) and within 5 minutes it had turned into 203Mb process size (still
only 140Mb RSS). Have anyone seen similar behavior, and does anyone
have any pointers to where I can find more info on it?
