xdtm: can't load library '/lib//libc.so.4'
Incompatible version.
I saw that the file libc.so.4 does exist at the lib directory
(/lib).
Can some one tell me what is the reason for this and what
to do in order to solve the problem?

I am trying to install linux in a 386 machine.
It prompts:
/bin/sh: can't load library 'lib/libc.so.5'
/bin/sh: can't map library 'lib/libc.so.5'
INIT: Id "cl" respawning too fast : disabled for 5 minutes.
Does anybody know what is going on? Please help me!
