I'm trying to mount a filesystem on a BSDI 1.0 system from an
MCC 0.99p10+ Linux system.  The mount hangs.  Since I can mount
other NFS systems from Linux and I can mount the BSDI system from
elsewhere, it is not clear where the problem might be.  Before
I start collecting data to debug the problem, does anyone
recognise this ?

At least part of the NFS server code was broken in pl10 and maybe pl11.
pl12A seems to work, as I've had my BSDI 1.0 system mounting the home
filesystems from my pl12A linux box for several days now with no
problems.  (Honestly I don't really know if the problem was fixed in
pl11.  I just noticed that it was fixed in pl12A.)
