 am trying to make the new kernel from the source code
avaible at tsx-11.mit.edu  Now the problem is what do
I need to change in the make file so that  the boot disk
I make will look for the file system on hda5 and not
hda1

If you read the README that came with the source distribution, you would
see that you need to change the define at the top of the makefile.

* Basic configuration

1.  Edit Makefile: Check the definitions of macros ROOTDEV, KEYBOARD,
MATH_EMULATION, RAMDISK and SVGA_MODE before you run make.  They are
explained in the Makefile.
