I was no kernal bug, but a tricky X - problem with the old (version  
1.0...) X-server and gwm.
Because this was as pure local problem, there is no need to do anything  
about ist.

I v just compiled .99pl8 with nfs,dos,minix,ext,xiafs sup. ,
irq auto detect, 20 MB RAM.

The .99.pl8 has a load of 3 with no (CPU consuming) processes running  
!!!!
This has to be a heavy bug because the .99pl7A kernel  is clean!
