SLS 1.01 problem!

Post by Simon Johnst » Sat, 15 May 1993 16:27:42

Hi, I've just used an SLS 1.01 distribution set which is held on a
server here at ICL (ozz.oasis.icl.co.uk) and transfered it to disk. I
installed sets a,b,c and d, then before going onto the 'x' series it
asked for disk s1. I don;t appear to have an 's' series of disks. Am I
missing a disk series or are some disks incorrectly labbeled ?.

I would like to know so that I can install correctly and alter the SLS
on the above site to be correct.

There is an "s" series of disks for the SLS. Check tsx-11.mit.edu or
sunsite.unc.edu for them. Wuarchive.wustl.edu mirrors tsx-11 so it
have them to.

1. SLS 1.01 - Problem

I've found one problem with the SLS 1.01 distribution that I haven't seen
mentioned here.  That's that the /usr/man/cat1/*tex*.1 files are NOT
preformatted.  I've fixed it on my own system by moving the files into the
/usr/man/man1 directory and formatting them.
