Hi,I am new to Linux
I am running Red Hat Linux 6.2, kernnel 2.2.5-15
After installing OS and getting the GUI at the resolution I wanted,
I moved on to installing my Esonic PCI soundcard (es1371).
I ran the sndconfig program and no problem, it installed the available
driver.
Later I realized no sound, "device or resourses busy" was the error
messege.
I tried the sndconfig again and got the same error message.
I even reformated and reinstalled Linux, still same error message.
I try setting the perameters for the driver in the conf.modules file.
Then I get an error message, "invalid parameter io"
sndconfig worked once, since then I haven't added any new devices.
I believe I have some sort of resource conflict.
Any help would be appreciated.
