german set for linux

A while ago I saw a posting about a set of utilities and
setup files for german users. I would especially interested in a
german emacs setup, i.e. typing and procession german umlauts.

Where do I get it?

They are available from

ftp.tu-clausthal.de

I have yet to find any mirror sites, especially because my university has
serious ftp-problems with clausthal, but you should try it out.

Sorry, I was not quite right.

Try /pub/systems/Linux/SLT on ftp.tu-clausthal.de
The Line is slow, but there is /pub/Linux/sls/disks/g? on ftp.gwdg.de, which
ist reasonable fast.

Bye again ....

Try FTP.Informatik.RWTH-Aachen.DE:/pub/Linux/...

 Try FTP.Informatik.RWTH-Aachen.DE:/pub/Linux/local/SLT/{g1|g2}

ist noch etwas genauer der Platz!
