has anyone informations (links etc.) about building clusters of
computers for webservers (apache or aolserver) and databases ? some
opensource/free if possible.

http://www.linux-ha.org  If you're interested in Highly Available Configurations.  It also works
well for Linux Virtual Server (i.e. Apache load balancing.)  Computational Clustering and
Distributed Computing Clusters are a different sort of beast.
