i know that, i ask it because i don't have it, and i want to know howQuote:> it's the x shared memory extension - why do you ask?
Could someone help me with my linking problem?
I am using Mesa and Qt -libraries and everything goes well until
at the linking phase I get error messages saying:
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
/usr/bin/ld: Unsatisfied symbols:
XShmCreateImage (code)
XShmPutImage (code)
XShmAttach (code)
XShmQueryVersion (code)
XShmDetach (code)
*** Error exit code 1
I guess, Shm refers to shared memory and X refers to X11, but I have
not any idea where these routines can be found. In the makefile I have
mentioned following libraries:
LIBS = -lqt -lqgl -lg++ -lVCollide -lRAPID -lglut -lMesaGLU
-lMesaGL -lX11 -lm
May be, I have not managed to install Mesa right way or should I add
some library to LIBS?
