I have tried xmodmap to make a 2-button mouse
function like 3-button but failed.

Given that so many of you are using 2-button mouse,
how can you do this?

(In fact my mouse does has three phyiscal button,
but the middle does nothing. If I power up
the machine with left-button pressed, according
to the manual says, the mouse will not function
at all).
