Linux-Everywhere - Open Source Project volunteers needed

Post by Chris P » Mon, 07 Apr 2003 07:57:59

Hi,

Just recently, I registered Linux-Everywhere.com/net/org domains with the intention to create several Open Source LINUX
consulting related projects.

I welcome any ideas and volunteers that have excellent web design, php, html, C/C++, Perl skills and want to contribute.
For several months I am willing to sponsor all the traffic/hardware/management associated costs, but after that the
sites should be able to sustain themselfs.

This should allow us to create one to three LINUX portals for various projects, consulting, programming and should be
enough attractive to attract sponsors to pay for the traffic, hardware and moderators/contributors.

The work quality of listed consultants/programmers should be rated at the end by their customers, and all posted
projects should be under GPL to strength our LINUX community.

Thank you,

Chris P.

Hi Chris,

It sound really a good project.

I have been working with a pharma co. as an Asst. System Admin.  I am
basically Diploma Holder in Computer Technology.  Though, I have just
to look after the current configuration running Novell/Win98 and
customised programs, in my spare time, I work on Linux.  My knowledge
includes Website Designing, cgi-programming using Perl etc.  Rightnow
I work on using Linux as an Enterprise Solution, providing total
solutions an enterprise need in their MIS Department.

It would be my pleasure to volunteer for linux-everywhere.com.  Kindly
let me know which kind of my support is required.

Bye for now,

Dipesh Mehta
