this week I want to buy a new PC with the intention to run Linux on it.
The german discounter ESCOM offers a 486DX2/66 with VESA local bus (2 slots).
I want to order it with a VLB IDE-controller and a VLB S3-VGA graphics-card
(both from ESCOM).
Anybody there who has a similar configuration and who can tell me something
about compatibility and speed? What about the S3-card (I've heard that there
are drivers for it in XFree86, but what about this special card)?
