For 3270 emulation, you should have a look at x3270.  I use this a lot
at work and at home over TCP/IP.  I've put up a web page that
describes what I've done at:

<URL:http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/c.evans/doc/x3270-as400.html>

I've also seen a recent post in comp.os.linux.announce advertising
some kind of IBM host connectivity for Linux.

(I'll stop posting this URL so often once it starts showing up in DejaNews.)

I think this is what you saw.  It looks pretty interesting.

Heterogenius Systems announce SNIPIX: SNA over TCP/IP for Unix.

SNIPIX allows you to run SNA LU6.2 CPI-C client/server applications
on Unix, communicating via TCP/IP with APPC applications on other
Unix systems using SNIPIX, or with IBM mainframe (CICS/ESA, OS/390)
or AS/400 systems using IBM AnyNet.

A Linux version of SNIPIX is available now for free download from
http://www.hgsys.demon.co.uk

Heterogenius Systems can also supply SNIPIX for other versions of
Unix, such as SCO OpenServer, HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, etc.

I have a 10 GB UDMA IDE drive formatted with Windows.  The first partition
is FAT32, and the second is NTFS.  I can successfully mount the first, but
not the second.  Any ideas?

Suse 7.2 on i86
the drive is mounted on /dev/hdc, and I CAN see hda1, but not hda2
