Porting TOPS-20 COMND Jsys to LINUX

Porting TOPS-20 COMND Jsys to LINUX

Hello .. I just thought I'd check to see if anyone was working
on this.  If you are not familiar with TOPS-20's COMND Jsys
it is the base for its interactive user interface .. with the
most helpful features being command recognition and complete.
Something lacking in all UNIX shells and programmes (with the
exception being C-Kermit .. but that has CCMD (the C version
of COMND Jsys).

At anyrate .. if you are interested or have been working on
this please let me know.  Otherwise I'll get to work on it.

Perhaps you'd better explain that some more. To me, command
recognition and completion means I can press TAB to complete
a command or filename. That works in bash, tcsh, and zsh.
In tcsh you can even get fancy and make "telnet sun\t" complete
only on host sunsite.unc.edu, not the file sunos.txt.
Zsh might do even more.
