What happened to gCAD, the GNUified Varkon derivative?

What happened to gCAD, the GNUified Varkon derivative?

Just started playing a little with varkon.  It's actually pretty nice
once you get past the initial conceptual barriers....

But what happened to the project to use (some of) the sources to make
a GNU version for linux?  The link to gCAD from www.varkon.com seems
dead :-(

The link from our website to the gCAD project has not
been working lately, probably because of problems
with the gCAD web server in Spain. It did work 2 minutes
ago when I tried though.

As far as the project is concerned nothing has changed.
Inigo in Spain is working with the User Interface, Franz
in Austria is working with the Graphics and we are preparing
the rest of the Varkon sources to be released hopefully
before the end of the year.

Should anybody like to join, we need help with documentation,
the website, testing and much more.

Regards,
