Has anyone managed to install this successfully yet? All I get when I
run ./setup is a script error.

Look in the FAQ on the startdiv site - you need to upgrade your libc

Hallo Paul,

i downloaded the 49MB unpacked, ./setup and GO !

I even put it in a different directory, and all works fine.

Yes, and it works fine!
Do exactly what they suggest in the doumentation file that is available in
the download directory Except you must use export instead of the set
command

here is what I did and it worked fine:
I downloaded the lib 5.4.33 and unpacked it to /usr/staroffice/lib
cd /usr/starofice/lib
ln -s libc.so.5.4.33 libc.so.5
LANG=EN_US
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/staroffice/lib
export LAND LD_LIBRARY_PATH
cd /tmp/office_install
./setup

good luck

1. StarOffice 4.0 Problems...

Hi all.  I just spent 12 hours grabbing this thing, but it won't run for
more than 15 seconds before:

I took the tarball, copied it to a temp dir, untarred it, ran the ./setup,
then tried to run it.  Any suggestions?
