Hello,
Just today I have baught Trust Imagery 1200 flatbed scanner (Twain
compatible) and installed under DOS. The same thing I wanted to use under
Linux. It has SCSI interface. This is the first SCSI device with my system.
I am using recent kernel with Panasonic CDROM support (sbpcd). Am I required
to change (compile?) my kernel? to use this scanner?. Also are there any
drivers available for this scanner?. I have seen one scanner???.tgz file at
sunsite and downloaded. But I am not sure whether it can support my scanner
or not. If any one of you have any experience in using scanner under linux,
please advise me on how to setup this. One more thing is, is any one using
scanner directly from Khoros (either Khoros 1.5 or Khoros2.2)?. I wanted to
here if so from you. Please do reply.
I forgot to mention one thing. Its manual says it is TWAIN compatiable?. Any
use from this?.
With warm regards,
Venkat
