Neopaint on Linux/X ?

Is there any chance to see Neopaint ported on Linux/X ?
I have shareware version for DOS, and can say it is worth much more than
it costs. Looks like XWindows app. (I am speaking about DOS version),
with powerful tools and special effects, etc etc... The best SW paint
program, IMHO. Looks like it can be easily ported to XWindows.

I agree totally..  I have used Neopaint for two semi-professional image editing
jobs and have yet to find any other program that can match it for features,
speed, or relilability.  Does anyone know if the author would be open to this
type of modification to his program?

Anyone know where I can download this program?  I wouldn't mind
checking it out and putting a bit of time talking with the author to
see if we can port it.
