Greetings. The ASF format used by Netshow for audio and video is supposed
to be an open standard. Has any work been done on creating a server for
Linux capable of feeding canned audio and/or video ASF streams to
Netshow clients? This would seem to be a considerably simpler task
than the clients themselves, at least for basic applications, since
no codec encoding or decoding would be necessary.
Please reply by e-mail; I'll summarize responses. Thanks very much.
