I know someone posted a while back of a program they wrote to balance
one's check book. It was writen in perl with tkTCL. Anyone know where
I can find this?

Sure, have a look at:  ftp.me.umn.edu:/pub/finance/cbb-0.52a.tar.gz
It may have also propagated to sunsite.unc.edu.

If you want to see what it looks like before you download/install it,

This is my home page ... look under Check Book Balancer for Unix/X.
There you can find an actual screen shot, as well as run a "live"
demo (if you have X.)
