cdwrite w/Kernel 2.x

cdwrite w/Kernel 2.x

Post by Tom Johns » Thu, 10 Oct 1996 04:00:00

Anyone compiled cdwrite v1.5 under kernel 2.x?  I am not much of a C
coder and when I tried to compile this package, make returned 3 pages
of warnings followed by an exit.

Any experts in cdwrite?

Thanks,
Tom

cdwrite 2.0 compiles fine under 2.0.x. It can be found on the major linux FTP
sites.

1. CDwrite won't compile under RedHat3.0.3 (kernel 2.0.21), help!

I'm trying to compile CDwrite 1.5 (which came with the mkisofs package
I downloaded from ftp.cdrom.com) under RedHat3.0.3 (kernel 2.0.21) but
it just doesn't work.  Lots of undefined references to pointers,
redefinition of constants, etc.  Here is a sample of the output of the
compilation,

cc -Wall -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -I /usr/src/linux/include -I

As you can see it's quite bad.  There must be something missing
somewhere.  Any help greatly appreciated.
