I can't use dosemu 0.60 with X - all the keys (except Enter. Del,
F? and Arrow keys) don't work.

Any idea waht's the problem?

Try using the "keycode" keyword in your X line in dosemu.conf:

X { updatefreq 8 keycode title "DOS in a BOX" icon_name "xdos" }

Two problems:

(1) You didn't read the CHANGES file, nor the comments in the
X section of the config file

(2) You also didn't bother to read the answer which was posted
about a gazillion times in this newsgroup and c.o.l.x

NOW PAY ATTENTION:

Change the line in your /etc/dosemu.conf from

X { updatefreq 8 title "DOS in a BOX" icon_name "xdos" }

to

X { updatefreq 8 title "DOS in a BOX" icon_name "xdos" keycode }

Still, this doesn't help when displaying it on a Sun/SGI or whatever that
doesn't run XFree. I'm back to 0.53pl43....

the X { updatefreq 8 title "DOS in a BOX" icon_name "xdos" keycode }
trick does *absolutely* no good for the problem where xdos becomes
*INERT* *INACTIVE* *BROKEN* after it has been iconized.

If the people who developed it did such a wonderful job of the icon,
WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE GOT XDOS
TO ICONIZE AND UNICONIZE PROPERLY?????

Or am I the only person who has this problem?
