"Linux got yet another boost today with news that French
schools across the nation are to deploy the operating
system on Cobalt servers...."
"The roll-out will begin later this month. A spokesman
for the company said the qube is perfect for the education
market because they are specifically designed to be set-up by
people with minimal IT skills. Using Linux, he added, was
also an obvious choice because of the lack of software licensing costs."
