Black Caps captain Stephen Fleming is relishing the prospect of bowling last
on the bouncy Kensington Oval pitch in Barbados.
The kiwis finished day one on 257 for six, after Fleming's 130 helped them
recover from being 117 for five at one stage.
The skipper says the pitch is already breaking up, and should take plenty of
spin on the last couple of days.
Robbie Hart and Daniel Vettori will be at the crease when day two gets
underway... Hart has 34 while Vettori is on 21.
Hopefully the Black caps can hold off the attack by Brian Lara. Also good to
see some new faces in the team and look forward to facing the Aussies in the
up coming tests. Hopefully the Black Caps will keep up the confidence and
Unfortunately I'm not looking forward to the Bledislow Cup, the All Blacks
lack ability to concerntrate and think on the field, vs the Australians who
play a smart, strategic game.
