Just out of curiosity

Post by Jim Stevenso » Sun, 26 Jan 2003 15:27:50

About an hour or so ago I read a post and then responded to it. I
checked back to see if the reply had gone through, which it had and now
the thread has disappeared......so who has nicked it :)

Jim

There was nothing controversial in the original post or the reply
(AHHH, thats probably why it vanished....far too tame)

The one on Xandros?  It's still there, at least on my server, about 4
threads down from the top, sorted by date from newest to oldest.

Thanks Bo,
I have found it and lost it again....seems strange that it doesn't show
up in the list each time I access the group. At the moment the group
listing doesn't show any posts between 09:59 and 12:33 today. However if
I do a search for the thread it is still there. A possible bug in
Mozilla mail/news reader? It's not a problem though....

1. Maya curiosity

I was checking out the 3d workstation article on /. today and got a
little curious.  Does anyone know if the linux version of maya runs on
FreeBSD?  I have no real interest in it other than curiosity but it sure
would be cool to know.
