Linux in Titanic movie production - German translation available

Hi;

[Note: most of the F'Ups deleted]

Just wondering: has anybody seen DEC's Web-page about the rendering of
Titanic <http://www.digital.com/alphaserver/ad/titanic/> with Linux
not being mentioned there? They mention IRIX and even Digital Unix
somehow, but they don't tell you what OSs the movie was actually
rendered on. Ok, it may be unimportant; but it gives you a clue on
what to think about official information policy by DEC (or other
companies)...

Cheers
   -rbk.

There were several machines involved (160) with a magority of them using Linux
(all 433 alphas)  Some using NT.  There is an article in the Linux journal
specifying the details (http://www.ssc.com/lj/issue46/2494.html)
