I've seen similar diagrams about two months ago on Microprocessor
REport's web site. (or maybe they prefer to be called Microdesign REsources)

  Ahem.  I think you mean Guy Burgess.  Anthony Burgess is a highly
  respected author best known for "A Clockwork Orange".

1. Merced project

Perhaps this is the wrong forum, but with IBM working on an Intel version
(with others) of Unix, I was surprised to see that there was no mention of
a 'smit' or 'odm'.  I think that all users of AIX can appreciate the
useability of smit and the added functions the odm gives to aix.

In a short write up of the 'new unix', I did see that it was going to have
a /etc/printcap instead of /etc/qconfig.

If there is a better group to ask this question, I'd appreciate a pointer.
