[You might be surprised to see this posting on this news group, but
I think it's a hint that I consider Linux superior to other operating
systems (Frisk was developed under Linux!) As far as Linux helping
people to "pick up chicks," my SO loves this game :)]
I am pleased to announce the release of Frisk-0.99b3 to Linux users.
In short, it is an X11, multiplayer, networked version of the classic
board game Risk. Following is the .lsm file, providing information
on the program. Here are the two URLs, for the WWWites:
ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/games/multiplayer/Frisk-0.99b3.tar.gz
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/games/x11/strategy/Frisk-0.99b3.tar.gz
(the latter one is probably still
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/Incoming/Frisk-0.99b3.tar.gz)
Enjoy,
Elan
