Linux advocacy, anyone?

Hi all,

I was thinking of purchasing a P-100 system from a company down
in "The City of Industry", CA; by the name of Comtrade.  Has anyone had
any experiences with this company, and do their systems make good Linux
boxes?  How about some Linux advocacy directed my way at this address:

>> How about some Linux advocacy directed my way...

I'd be happy to just some good ole Linux advocacy in this newsgroup! By
advocacy, I mean hearty endor*ts of Linux in a _positive_ sense
without the bashing of everything else. There also seems to be a dearth
of "Linux success stories" here in c.o.l.a.

It's my perception (after reading this newsgroup since its inception)
that if it weren't for:

a). The degrading of everything else...
b). The internecine battles of FreeBSD vs. Linux...
c). The cross-posting to/from MS and OS/2 advocacy groups...

...this would be a rather quiet place on Usenet.

1. comp.os.linux.advocacy anyone?

Seriously,

Maybe during the great split of 93 we should have created a
    comp.os.linux.advocacy.  Was this even suggested?

It would be a good place to
    a) move the reoccuring DOS vs Windows vs Linux vs Joe vs the Volcano wars.
    b) a fun place to vent at the end of the day!!!
